An evidence review, not medical advice
The content on this site is a review of published evidence and regulation. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for a consultation with a clinician who has examined you. It deliberately does not recommend for or against any treatment, and it does not state what any individual should do.
What the evidence does and does not show
The claims the evidence supports are stated as supported, and the claims it does not carry are stated as not supported. A laboratory finding is distinguished from a visible result, an established transplant indication is distinguished from a cosmetic use of the same vocabulary, and a product that is lawful to supply is distinguished from one that has been approved for the use being sold.
No guarantee, and no booking
No outcome can be guaranteed, and nothing on this site is an offer of assessment, treatment or consultation. It is not a booking page, and no claim here should be read as an invitation to arrange anything. A decision about a cell or tissue product is an individual clinical question, and where the product is unapproved it is often one that cannot be reversed afterwards.
When to seek care
Spreading redness, warmth, fever or discharge from an injection site, a firm lump, persistent pain or any change in the treated area should be assessed by a clinician. Contact the service that performed the treatment, and if the problem is sudden or severe, particularly any change in vision or severe pain around the eye, seek emergency care immediately.
